Our Story

L’Artisan, the only genuine French Restaurant in Cheltenham !!

Why not enjoying a Piece of France without going abroad?
Here is our news:

*At l’ARTISAN we have registered to take part in the Eat Out Help Out government scheme.
As we are closed on Mondays, we will apply every Tuesdays and Wednesdays of August 2020, a 50% discount, up to a maximum of £10 per person, on food and non-alcoholic drinks.

*Our New Gastronomic “Tour de France” set menu will take you to a beautiful region: BRITTANY
You will be offered this menu for 
£15.95 for 2 courses or £19.95 for 3 courses.
It will be available from the 4th to the 22nd of August, Tuesdays to Saturdays for lunch and Tuesdays to Thursdays for dinner from 6pm to 7pm (order before 7am).

Starters:
Atlantic Salad (
Marinated Fish, prawns, Mussels, Seaweed) or
Ham Hock Terrine, Brittany style
Main Course:
Pan fried “Saumonette” (Dogfish) with “Meunière” Butter or
Brittany “Pot-au-Feu”: Kik a Farz
(
Simmered pork and beef in a broth with a buckwheat flour-based pudding)
Desserts:
Brittany Crêpes with Lemon, Butter and Sugar or
Apples Far Breton

You can as well choose from our “A la carte” menu.

Elisabeth and Yves, who come from Provence, successfully ran for several years in the Leicestershire country side, near Melton Mowbray, a gastro-pub-restaurant called “La Table d’Yves”.
